The wet lab is equipped to prepare samples for biophysical experiments, including solid-state NMR. Isotopically labeled samples are synthesized, purified, and analyzed. Purification includes chromatographic methods (e.g. HPLC). Analysis is done by mass spectrometry and amino acid analysis. Reconstitution of labeled molecules is carried out to follow native-like conditions of pH, salt and temperature.
